Sparking Blast is broken as all hell too, makin' everyone stun your block absolutely for free as if defense wasn't already wack. Who the hell thought a lack of defense was good? Usin' it for ki blasts is mostly pointless when you can just Super Dash through 'em. The only thing you got is either down heavy, blowback via Sparking Blast (that's usually one time use in a match unless Shenron exists), or this gay li'l swipe that doesn't even stop your opponent's attack spree, so it'll often just work to their advantage anyway. It doesn't help that defense options are nonexistent. No practice mode needed not that you need it in a game where everyone uses the same basic **** For On top of that, the light attacks got **** range. As simple as the move execution is, there's little point to it when you can just crush your skull against the controller to get the same if not better results.
It's one of many things that really kill the game for me. You can mash 'em, the light ones either have massive range or a goddamn vacuum effect or both, and some of the medium ones (like Hit's medium autocombo) do a **** ton of damage.
